Super delicious and authentic food! Dishes are well spiced, the sauces are delicious and there is a great variety of dishes. The chicken soup is super good, the cat fish with kale is awesome and overall the food amounts are generous. I highly recommend this place, you definitely get the bang for your buck there!
Amazing service and staff
Very nice food. Reasonable prices
Nice food, nice service
Best Indonesian in Berlin
Very happy with their service and friendly behavior. Excellent!!
As an Indonesian, I love to go to Nusantara for food I cannot (or too lazy) to cook at home. They have varieties of complicated food like Pempek, Batagor, Siomay, Nasi Padang and many others that I wouldn't have the patience to make myself. I would say the price is quite fair, considering how much of a hassle it would take if you make these food yourself. Taste could be better though and sometimes the service wasn't as great. I mean to be fair, some of the waiters/waitresses are really friendly, just what you expect from Indonesian hospitality but I was served twice by a rather rude waitress and I called once to inquire their delivery service, then someone picked up a call and rudely refused to deliver to Mitte (which was only 3k away from them, I got mixed information here as well as a friend said once they could deliver to Mitte). But again, these are probably exceptions because some staff are really friendly and service oriented, especially the guy who seems to be around often (maybe the owner?). He even remember faces, though I didn't come there that often because I live quite far. He also now starts to do delivery service with a wider reach (I ordered from Friedenau and the food arrived around 1,5 hours from the order to my table). I'm happy I can eat their food at home now :)
3 stars with the note: going there is recommended. The ambience is really not cozy. The tables outside can wobble and squeak. Inside it looks like a snack. Unfortunately, the service is not professional, some don't understand German very well and can sometimes serve the wrong way. The quality of the dishes is variable. Sometimes better, sometimes worse.
Perfect Food and Service.
Always really delicious food at good prices. I like this restaurant a lot and the atmosphere is friendly. Authentic Indonesian
'Rendang' and 'Bak mi goreng ayam' are the best plates!
Delicious, very modestly priced, authentic Indonesian cuisine. Will definitely return.
Very tasty Indonesian food! We had fried tempeh with different sauces as a starter. These were delicious! I particularly recommend the ginger coffee. Now very suitable for the slightly cooler temperatures outside.
If you are looking for simple but delicious traditional Indonesian food for reasonable prices, this is your place. We come here often and have never been disappointed!
Small, simple and tasty Indonesian restaurant with a large selection.
Try that great kitchen, there is usually something for everyone on the menu. The seats were cleaned properly and the seating was deeply comfortable. There you get both: personable and fast waiter. We think the prices are perfectly ok.
Too much Monosodium Glutamate aka MSG in the foods
Extremely good food, drinks are not that good. Price reasonable. Service should get better. Gladly again but rather to take away. The restaurant is too old fashioned and the toilet is not clean.
Best Indonesian food in Germany
Good food and service..
The better choice for Indonesian restaurant in Berlin. On a good day, i love the flavor coming out of their kitchen! Some days, it’s poor quality (ie: tempe tasted stale) or a bit bland. They really need to work on consistency. I like the variety of mini appetizer menu that they have so I can order a bunch of things in smaller portion. Personal favorite: gorengan, nasi padang, batagor, nasi pecel This is as good as it gets for Indonesian restaurant in Berlin. Hope there will be more popping out.
Very well located with sets to sit outside. Usually there is a buffet outside of Corona times, I think, but you can now go to the store in the back and look at some things to buy. The BAGSO as a starter was very, very tasty, the braised beef with rice in a banana leaf disappointed me a little, it was a little dry but well spicy
Delicious meals with authentic Indonesian taste. Recommended!!
Great little place. Genuine food. Friendly service. Great prices.
Five stars for the food, but the place seemed to be poorly managed. Took forever for the servers to come to take order of the drinks, give us the drinks and take order of the food. We sat down at 8 p.m. and the food didn't come till after 9:15 p.m.
I lived in Malaysia and traveled a lot in Indonesia too. I'm pretty used to eat these kind of cuisines. Very deceiving. Satay and gado gado were ok, small portions. A bit slow. Tables and chairs are really not clean. I clearly do not understand why it is that well rated. Better to go to the Indian restaurant which is nearby!
Very good store, you can buy almost anything
Best reataurant in moabit. I mean best Indonesian food in berlin. Staff is friendly , prices are Ok
Was very good. I've been with my friends from different countries and she really likes the food
Nice service + excellent food = great. There is free tea for the people whose money is tight. The price is especially suitable for students. Unfortunately, you can only pay with cash.
Tasty food
Very tasty, authentic Indonesian food! The beef in banana leaves is a poem and its taste exceeds all expectations and also every other South Asian restaurant that I have visited in Berlin. Caution is advised, as some of the dishes (without being described on the menu) are very spicy, but for me personally this is just another plus. Unfortunately the food takes a little while and the service is very nice, but also a bit confusing. Only after we had finished and after some time put our plates together and put them aside did the waiter come to tell us that we had to check out in front. Happens only the first time, but a little hint would have been nice.
The food was ok and too expensive for what it offers. My iced coffee only came after I asked for it. It tasted of water and was without vanilla ice cream. The service was very nice, therefore two stars.
Super delicious food
Very authentic Indonesian cuisine. Delicious! Even if the service was a bit slow we were served extremely friendly.
Very good authentic shop. Food was very tasty, the service very nice. Will definitely be back.
One of the best Indonesian restaurant in Berlin with almost the real Indonesian taste.
If you miss Indo, it's the most delicious and complete here. They also sell sosro tea, sambal bu Rudi, blue band and others :)
Always love to come back and eat various Indonesian foods
New interior and lighting, and bigger portion with better taste!
I actually found this spot after my regular Indonesian (Mabuhay) was closed for a month! Preferring more casual spots to eat, I loved the atmosphere here - it's small and relaxed. The beef rendang was great and my friends tried various other dishes, we were all happy with our choices. The portion sizes are great, we shared a few starters - veggie fritters so we left feeling pretty full and content, will definitely be heading back here next time I'm in Moabit.
I'm Indonesian and I recommend this restaurant. There are a lot of kind of Indonesian foods with good price and of course they taste delicious. Tips: Rendang and Batagor are a must try! Selamat makan!
Here you can easily and cheaply eat Indonesian and other Far Eastern dishes. The service is friendly and quick. The pictured egg rice with chicken and vegetables is available for a reasonable € 6.90. The food is very tasty and the portions are pleasantly full. I go here again at any time.
The food here is delicious. Enak dan dan Bersih.
Loved it. Was our first time in an Indonesian restaurant. Great variety of food to order from
The taste is not the best, but good enough!
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin. Soto ayam, nasi goreng and tempe mendoan are nice. I don't recommend pempek, bakmi godog or ketoprak. The food has an affordable price and the restaurant is generous enough to give free hot tea.
Malaysia and Indonesia share a lot of common things. One of them is food. There is a lot of food that we share and we love. As I travelled around Europe, I think this restaurant has something that is so close to home. But, I ordered something new, Nasi Padang. It was so good. I tasted a little bit of their sambal, spicy just the way I like it back in Malaysia.
The ambiance here is generally pleasing and you also never have to wait long to be served. Enjoy the ambiance here and the meals is often well cooked and tasty. Many thanks so much for carrying out our family special event absolutely unforgettable! My brother had an excellent birthday, we are coming back again. Don't often eat out yet if we do, this is actually the best place for good food at sensible prices. The people who work here are very sweet and always very helpful especially to my sister who has food allergies.
Really great food, tastes just like Indonesia!
